Charlo Dalli is a Production Designer and an Art Director in the movie industry with more than 20 years of experience in the Art Department. His background is rooted in Classical Architecture and Interior Design, providing a strong foundation in proportions, composition and visual design.
He built a distinguished career creating ambitious, visually compelling worlds for acclaimed international film and television productions. He brings together architectural expertise, meticulous research, design development, and hands-on production experience to deliver environments that are both authentic and emotionally resonant.
His credits include Munich, Game of Thrones, Captain Phillips, Murder on the Orient Express, Jurassic World, Napoleon, Gladiator II, Enola Holmes 3, Agora and 13 Hours amongst others which helped him gain the experience to step up into the Production Design world, he has led productions including Queen of the South, Prizefighter, For the Love of Honey, Mix Up in the Mediterranean, Easy, Borderline and Hungry.
Charlo’s approach combines rigorous design discipline with a strong instinct for storytelling, creating environments in which architecture, scale, detail, and atmosphere work together in service of the narrative. His experience spans complex historical settings, large-scale builds, water and works, ships, period projects with demanding action environments, allowing him to translate ambitious creative concepts into practical, cinematic realities.
