PRODUCTION DESIGNER & SENIOR ART DIRECTOR
Charlo Dalli is a Maltese Production Designer and Senior Art Director known for building ambitious, emotionally precise worlds across epic period dramas and high-octane franchises. Trained in Baroque architecture and fluent in Maltese, English, and Italian, he moves fluently from research and drafting to large-scale set builds—water tanks, ships, historical streets, and action environments.
His credits include collaborations on Munich, Game of Thrones, Captain Phillips, Murder on the Orient Express, Assassin’s Creed, Jurassic World Dominion, Napoleon, Gladiator II, and Apple TV+’s Foundation.
As Production Designer he has led features such as Queen of the South (Malta), Borderline, Hungry, and Easy. Charlo’s work blends rigorous craft with storytelling intuition - architecture in service of emotion.
“Every story deserves a world built to hold it.”
— Charlo Dalli
